Me neither. Scientology might be a much derided religion with only tens of thousands members worldwide, but they do have a lot of money and are notorious for their lawsuits and legal harassment. Someone like Remini trying to take them down is going to get their best counter punch. As I understand, one of her arguments is about “freeing” Shelly Miscavige. The LAPD already conducted a welfare check and she told them she wasn’t being held hostage and did not want to leave with the police. Sure, she probably would rather be somewhere else physically, but it seems to be clear she does not want to exit the religion.

Sounds like it is a publicity ploy for Remini and the basis for a documentary or a television special.

Her biggest claim to fame is being one of the stars of the serial “King of Queens” where she played the wise-cracking wife with a New York accent. She’s been typecast as the stereotypical New Yorker with an attitude. They tried reuniting her with Kevin James - the male lead in KOQ in a similar show - Kevin Can Wait, but it was cancelled after two seasons.

So despite what she claims, it seems she can get acting gigs. But they are of the same calibre of what she has already done. It also doesn’t help that she did the Scientology serial and is now typecast as the “Scientology lady”.

No disrespect to Remini, being on a show for 9 seasons is no joke, but she’s quickly falling into the trap Lloyd has found himself in. From here on out she’s going to struggle to get roles not due to Scientology, but the fact that she has placed herself at the centre of the anti-Scientology movement.

Now that Leah Remini files a lawsuit against the Scientology church, I wonder is Lloyd will have her back on his channel to talk about that

This would actually be a step in the wrong direction for Remini. She wants network coverage of her lawsuit, not to be a guest on a fading and disgraced exJW host’s channel.

Really, what good would it be for Remini to appear? There’s nothing Lloyd has to offer her and on the off-chance she does appear, it does not move the needle for her case nor does it get her more publicity. She’d be throwing Scientology an easy softball to discredit her.

What would be hilarious would be if Scientology went after Lloyd and exposed him. They create sites such as whoismikerinder.com for people who speak out. I think they’d have something to say about Remini and her decision to appear with him. Would probably paint it as pathetic and they’d be right.

I know a lot of super PIMIs who would have had a field day if they knew just about Lloyd stealing Crisis of Conscience and handing it out without the author's permission.

That’s why this thread along with the info site continues to hold Lloyd accountable for all the shit he has pulled over the years. This is a sick liar who should not be trusted with anything; he is that compromised. The COC controversy is documented on the LE Overview blog:

Unlike Lloyd’s Reddit thread that he routinely directs people to who are asking about COC, this blog has the receipts, including an email thread from Arthur Weber stating that the COC bootleg was an “arrangement” between him and Lloyd and that they indeed were selling it. In the Reddit thread, Lloyd claimed it was all Arthur and they were giving it away for free. That is simply false and the receipts are there.

As for the Power of Attorney regarding the lawsuit, good work on that Derek, Inna and Kim. Hopefully the strike ends soon and these documents can be downloaded. I think Kim should be given first crack at interpreting what is found and that it is shared amongst the names “defendants” before being released. It can be done here, with the docs posted on the info site without commentary so they can be easily linked.

People walked away before and let Jabba the Hutt win by default before because of the bullshit they received both from him and his goon squad. We’re here to tell everyone those times are over. Anyone seeking the truth will be directed to the truth supported by screenshots and supporting documentation. His frivolous lawsuit should be treated no differently.

The truth is on our side. All he has are snarky tweets and pitiful pleas for money because of unspecified “defamation”. Let’s let the microscope reveal the truth about this alleged defamation and let the court documents paint the factual story.

Nikolaus - You’ve just given your game away. If you had actually read the thread for the last two pages, you’d know about the legal case and how a lawyer was contacted in Croatia and given power of attorney from Kim. (Derek Moors posted an update to this 5 posts before yours).

But you came here for a drive by take, and appear to have a feigned interest in finding anything out about this other than to discourage people talking about Lloyd. You did your part for Jabba the Hutt, so go on and collect your medal.

Plus the downward trajectory of his channel could accelerate rather than level off in the medium term as he is less motivated to produce videos and fewer people support him as a result in a reinforcing downward loop.

This presents a problem for the next begging video and why it was unsustainable in the first place. His views have gone significantly down since the begging video (in the low thousands typically) and at the same time other creators have overtaken him, All of Wally's videos have significantly more views (20K+ typically) when just a few months ago he would have been fortunate to equal or slightly beat Jabba the Hutt. So many other channels, including relatively newer ones. That should scare him even more than the Patron drops. If he begs again, how many views is he going to get? How many people are going to see that charade yet again and get sick of his fundraising efforts? How many people are watching other channels alongside his, though with better content, and find not one instance of them saying they are quitting or reducing content if they don't get more donors?

It's a ticking time bomb and it's getting steadily worse. I believe another begging video (especially one by the end of the year) would cause more harm than good to him. Minor bump, maybe 2 or 3 dozen, and then right back on down and at a faster rate.

He took the money and just fanned it out like he was a rap star at a strip club. He really needed to infuse that cash (as promised) into his channel. I know his content is sparse and repetitive, but I would have done SOMETHING, gone somewhere, at least to show that he meant business. But that requires a work ethic and creativity he does not possess. He's just a bitter man who felt he should be touching 1500 patrons right now.

In the UK he was a nobody. His “I’m Lloyd Evans from Manchester” schtick doesn’t work there. The only way he’s returning to the UK permanently is if he gives up and goes back to being that nobody who goes unnoticed.

He’d have to fall a long way to just give up, and I don’t quite see him falling that far in the near future.

And what British gal is going to date him? He’s better off in the former Yugoslavia waving his passport and having some local tart thinking he’s her ticket to a new and exciting life in London. (Don’t worry, she’ll change her mind quickly when/if she sees him naked)

Longer term it gets more complicated for him as he’s just a middle aged guy who was an elder for one year 20 years ago.

The more immediate problem for him is that he runs his business like a Nigerian prince. Chock full of grandiose promises, but little on details or tangibles. He’ll tell you who shot JFK if it means he gets closer to your money. Sooner or later people realise they’ve been sold a bill of goods, or just tire of the whole scene and transition out of the community.

He’s like the bullshit 70’s rock promoter who sells tickets to a Beatles reunion, only to disappoint people when they find out it’s a 15 minute sit-down with Ringo and Yoko. That’s why he took the Patreon goals down. The primary reason he can’t make a documentary right now is due to little interest and likely writer’s block in finding something new to say about JWs for a video over an hour long.

There’s a few burn out JW “activists” out there. I could name names but I won’t. That’s where I see Lloyd heading. He’ll attract a smaller cult following of old time loyalists and other random dolts. You’ll see his content taper off & he’ll waste valuable time on his new book that no one will read.

Well, he felt it necessary to making a begging video when it was at 387, and in it he said he needed a minimum of 500 to keep the channel going as it is in the longer term, if I recall correctly.

I know it's irritating, but we're making the mistake of believing him. Go with the assumption that everything he says is an outright lie or a manipulation of the facts.

To clarify (per Lloyd, so none of this is really true): Lloyd said he needs the following numbers of Patrons and YT membership COMBINED:

620 - Says the channel can "grow" but does not specify how. He actually made it to over 700 in April, but in reality he hasn't done shit to "grow" the channel.

500 - Says this is the minimum to "break even". In other words, he'll still keep to his level of videos, but he won't be too happy doing it because he thinks he should be getting more.

He might have 485 patrons, but we don't know what the YT membership numbers are. They were over a hundred in late April according to him. If he's losing Patrons, he's also losing them there. We just don't know how much. I'd guess he has less than 100 now. He only had a couple dozen before the begging stunt.

Even best case scenario - 485 Patrons + 100 YT Memberships gets him to 585 - 35 short of where he wants it.

As for the truth: Speculation rather. I think at 387 patrons he was doing OK on a personal level. I reckon he had already arrived at or was nearing the point where he'd have to cut his pay in order to keep Tibor and he didn't want that. He could have sacked him, but it would have doubled his work load and he definitely didn't want that. That is probably why he said he said he was 700 Euros short of payroll. But don't believe that figure or even that he was short. He was just trying to make people believe he was hurting for money. The company tax filings indicated that they had over 8000 euros in the bank, so that was a total fabrication. Do the math - 700 Euros is less than 8000. He wasn't short on payroll.

Again, no responsibility for tarnishing his brand and refusing to put in the work to create better content. Instead he puts his hand out like he's owed it. He got to keep Tibor and keep his wife paid, but it came at a huge cost. It gave him some temporary breathing room, but it wasn't a long term fix. He's ruined himself and band-aids won't fix it.

Does Kim or anyone else here know if Lloyd should be doing that?

I am not a lawyer, but I've been through the court for family/child custody issues so many times I should have my own reserved seat.

I've had three different lawyers and all they told me the same thing. Do not talk to or communicate in any way with the other party unless it was regarding trivial matters such as pickup/dropoff times for the children. This prohibition also included making social media posts to the public about the case. Any emails or texts from the other party that were related to the case I was under instruction to forward them to my lawyer and let them answer if necessary.
